Nicolene Du Plessis is a leader, teacher, and devoted servant of Christ. As co-founder of InCourage Church in Cape Town alongside her husband Dewald, she’s passionate about equipping believers to grow in their faith and walk boldly in the purpose God has for them.
Her ministry is marked by her strengths: teaching, leadership, encouragement, and prophetic insight. But it’s more than skills — it’s a calling shaped by a deep, refining journey with the Lord.
The name Nicolene means “Victory of the People” — a fitting reflection of her life’s mission: to help others step into the victory of Jesus Christ. Since 2007, Nicolene has embraced her call to disciple nations, offering Spirit-led teachings, prophetic revelation, and real-life encouragement to help believers step into their God-given identity.
From her early days of faith in a Pentecostal church in Johannesburg to leading a church plant in Cape Town, Nicolene’s journey has been one of resilience, revelation, and purpose. As a wife and mother of four, she deeply understands the highs and lows of real life — and brings practical wisdom to match spiritual depth.
Through her writing, daily devotionals, prophetic words, and biblical dream interpretations, Nicolene’s heart is simple: to see people encounter the heart of God and live the victorious life they were created for.
About Nicolene's Ministry
Nicolene’s ministry is as multifaceted as it is Spirit-led — a true expression of her prophetic calling, her heart for discipleship, and her passion to equip others.
Over the years, she has poured herself into creating resources that build up the Body of Christ. From writing Bible school curricula for her previous church to developing a powerful Dream Interpretation Course and Symbol Guide, Nicolene’s teachings are rich in biblical truth and revelation. Her Marriage Course, co-developed with her husband Dewald, is a practical and Spirit-filled tool designed to help couples thrive in their covenant.
She also leads a monthly women’s Bible study, creating a space for women to go deeper in the Word, grow in community, and encounter God together.
On top of that, Nicolene is currently writing her first book — a project born from years of walking closely with God, marked by prophetic insight and real-life encouragement.
With a prophetic fire in her bones and a teacher’s heart, Nicolene has also stepped boldly into the digital space. She’s launched a growing social media ministry, where she shares daily devotionals, dream insights, and encouragement to a global audience hungry for truth in a noisy world.
Whether through her blogs, courses, studies, or posts, Nicolene’s goal is simple: to awaken believers to the fullness of who God is — and who they are in Him.
